Zeb Malik of Mad Decent’s PO PO decided to branch out and is now creating music as Jahan Lennon. His debut is a cover of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers’ “Don’t Come Around Here No More,” and, in comparison to what we’ve heard from Malik through PO PO, it appears that he’s experimenting with a “more refined sound.” The cover is hazy and psychedelic, subdued and melancholic, and yes, a sitar is involved.
