Despite the fact that Damon Albarn had once hinted that he doesn’t plan on making any new music with Blur, the band has released two new songs in honor of the 2012 Summer Olympics, which were shared via live video stream earlier today. Albarn had the forthcoming sold-out Hyde Park concert in mind when he wrote “Under The Westway” and “The Puritan,” and the pair of songs will be released on August 6th as a limited edition single.
