Fun fact: before becoming one of music’s biggest legends, Jimi Hendrix was a part of the 101st Airborne Division, which was chosen by Hendrix over serving prison time for riding in stolen cars. Ultimately, Hendrix, then only 19 years old, was discharged in May of 1962 after being caught masturbating in platoon areas.
