Danish pop darlings When Saints Go Machine just released a brand new video for their track “Mannequin.” To me, the actual imagery of mannequins found in the video fits singer Nikolaj Manuel Vonsild’s (so Danish!) somewhat androgynous, Antony Hegarty-esque voice very well. Mannequins always appear genderless, and to some level creepy, giving the video the feel of a walk through a department store in Chernobyl. While not quite as bittersweet as past WSGM videos, it continues the trend of matching the feel of the song.
