Album: Uncle Skeleton - "All Too Human"

1.

Surfing Bandcamp waves today I came across this super impressive release from Uncle Skeleton. A 26-track album that fits within the confines of one of those old school compact discs and encapsulates four unique movements is certainly something worth checking out. Gliding seamlessly from dancey electronic to ambient, hitting bosa nova and lo-fi along the way is no easy feat, but with a practiced skeletal hand this particular Uncle achieves it.

All Too Human is the perfect soundtrack for shuffling down into the end of a lazy afternoon, as the shifts from genre to genre have a natural leisurely ending where you may not even notice you’ve started napping in your backyard hammock. Until the hammock becomes a cocoon and you emerge as some type of ancient bookcase with your organs turned to novels on the importance of structurally sound bridges. Or at least that’s what happened to me.
