Prior to his show last night with Talib Kweli in Paris at La Bataclan, Yasiin Bey dropped by Radio Nova for a live on the air segment in which he performed “Sunshine Screwface”, a track produced by the late J Dilla. Bey (formerly Mos Def) started mixing the song into live sets last fall, but to our knowledge has yet to properly distribute a studio version of the record. This performance at Nova is of fairly high quality though, and should suffice until an official release. If there ever is one.
