Washed Out just announced his first headlining tour to support last year’s Within and Without. For his latest move, Ernest Green has put out this video for “Flower Anthem,” which is a track he recorded for Daytrotter that does not appear on his album. The video shows a girl pulling flowers out of her mouth and sticking them to her face. This goes on for over 9 minutes, until the girl’s face is completely covered with saliva-drenched flowers. Seems a little gross, but surely there is some kind of some kind of artistic thing happening here.
