Finally, a song by Jai Paul other than “BTSTU.” The man behind the music reamins a mystery, but the lack of material has led to some questions about whether or not he’ll ever be able to match that captivating track or match that opening line: “Don’t fuck with me, don’t fuck with me.” Although “Jasmine” isn’t as immediately ear-catching, the airy vocals and throbbing bass make this slightly funky, slightly detached song a promising sign of things to come from the XL Recordings artist.
