I hate having to “do stuff” in order to “get stuff.” That’s why it troubled me to learn that I needed to solve a puzzle in order to hear the new Electric Guest song. But after hearing that Danger Mouse was producing the band’s debut album, and after our interview with the guys, I was excited enough to hear new music that I was willing to give this puzzle shit a shot. It was pretty easy, and my speed with it had me feeling pretty smart, pretty good about myself. So maybe it wasn’t such a bad thing after all.
