While most of you were out getting destroyed last Saturday night, Lana Del Rey‘s career was incurring a little brain damage of its own by way of two less than impressive performances on SNL. We’ve already heard plenty of negative feedback from fans and NBC news anchors alike, so let’s skirt that discussion for the purposes of this post and focus on the work of our man MeLo-X.
Previously we’ve witnessed him flip a live re-edit of Drake and The Weeknd‘s “Crew Love” collabo, now he’s taken that same approach to LDR’s “Video Games”. While I’m generally burnt out on this song, MeLo adds a unique creative touch to the overall feel of the track while also replacing Lana’s vocals, a move her critics may find pleasing.
