Performing bedroom pop live is not an easy task. Taking something so intimate and turning it into a show seems unnatural, but Youth Lagoon has already shown he can make it work. The live versions of his songs feel a little larger and more confident than the sometimes charmingly timid album cuts, but the strength of the music comes through perfectly clear. Catch me at the New York show.
