Feist - "How Come You Never Go There (Beck Remix)"

1.

Feist’s “How Come You Never Go There” is a good song. It’s structure, melody, and soothing tone are all instantly lovable, distinct and sensible. It’s like a warm winter sweater, impossible not to feel comfortable in. Still, it’s a little meh. There’s nothing exciting about it, and it’s the same sweater that ten other people will probably be wearing if you walk into a busy coffee shop on a Sunday morning.

Enter Beck. For the remix, he plugs in some whip-cracking percussion, tweaks the vocals at all the right points, and gives this track a little edge while keeping its core in tact. Great remix.
