At her concert last night in New York City, Lana Del Rey brought out Woodkid for a duet. This is a good move because maybe it will restore some “indie credibility” in the eyes of people who got upset when they found out Lana was previously Lizzie Grant. Or maybe not, since Woodkid is the alter ego of Yoann Lemoine, the guy who directed Katy Perry’s “Teenage Dream” video. Not sure how the hip music elitists will react to this one. Ugh, the music industry is so complicated.
