No doubt about it, Foster The People blew up. It wasn’t an overnight thing, though. “Pumped Up Kicks” lingered in the air for well over a year before everyone caught a whiff. At this point, I wouldn’t be surprised if we were still all listening to it next summer. I’d be okay with that. It’s just that kind of song–the kind that is incredibly catchy without getting annoying or too pushy.
As a confirmation of success, FTP hit up SNL to perform and pulled an epic guest feature with motherfucking Kenny G. #PowerMove. Yup, you made it.
