We were introduced to Tidus with “Treetops,” during which he clearly established that he’s not your typical rapper. On “Welcome,” he drives that point home, but unlike some weirdo rappers who set themselves apart only through saying extreme stuff and looking strange, Tidus embodies that uniqueness in his delivery… and by wearing alien masks.
