Vampire Weekend‘s multi-instrumentalist and producer Rostam Batmanglij just released this solo track called “Wood.” It’s got a Middle-Eastern vibe to it, simple in it’s composition at some points and swirling with layers of strings and percussion at others. Really interesting stuff. Wouldn’t mind a whole album of this.
