After years of almost no activity from the reclusive Jeff Mangum and company, it’s good to finally have Neutral Milk Hotel to talk about again. It may not be new, but unreleased is just as good right? This one is from 1994, but we’re hearing it for the first time over a decade later. “You’ve Passed” is electric, fuzzy, and unmistakably Neutral Milk Hotel.
It will be included on the box set, or available for pay-what-you-want, along with all the other unreleased NMH tracks, on November 22nd. Until then, you can listen to it at the official NMH site below.
