Frances Bean (aka Kurt Cobain’s daughter) is engaged, according to OC Weekly, who also calls attention to the fact that her fiancé kind of looks like her dead dad. Something about this seems significant, like a testament to that old saying, “life goes on.” It applies even in the case of the tragic loss of a cultural icon, through his daughter who never got to know him, even though the rest of the world did.
Frances Bean was one year and eight months old when Kurt killed himself. In his suicide note, he wrote:
