Most anticipated EP of the near future? This one. Danny Brown is a little hard to stomach on first listen. While a lot of rappers try to play it cool and kick a laid back, casual flow, Danny Brown sounds like his vocal chords are about to snap with every line he blurts out. His Adderall-laced hyper-delivery keeps things interesting, but can also get a little overwhelming if the beat gets too chaotic. If the production is too subtle, it runs the risk of getting swallowed whole. Enter Black Milk.
Producer Black Milk is handling all the beat making responsibility on the upcoming EP, and if “Zap” is any indication, he knows how to perfectly balance out Brown’s eccentricity and keep things interesting at the same time. Black and Brown out on November 1st. Sounds crazy, and awesome.
