e-dubble is in the zone. Here’s the latest track he cooked up. “Life Coach” is a new look from the Baltimore rapper/producer featuring a chopped up sample of “Herb Dub – Collie Dub” by Jamaican ska band The Skatalites.
You might think e-dub’s high-impact delivery would be ill-fitted for a ska sample, but The Butcher pulls it off with a little tweaking of the flow. He tones things down slightly, but still brings that honest content matter that makes him stand out among the cool-crowd rappers and self-proclaimed superheroes.
