Gold Panda‘s debut album from last year is still one of my all-time favorite records. It’s that reliable kind of album that seems to fit in any environment and can always be played all the way through. He’s been fairly quiet since that dropped, but with his tour wrapped up and a DJ-Kicks mix on the way, I think we can (hopefully) start looking forward to new music from the English producer. This new track definitely skews towards his organic techno side (more The Field than J Dilla) which is less than ideal, but new Gold Panda is new Gold Panda and I’m pretty excited either way.
