In the past few years, MTV hasn’t really been known for their music videos, but thanks to the internet, music videos haven’t gone away. If anything, we watch more music videos than ever, just not on TV. To get back into the game, MTV has created the Supervideo series, which brings big names into music vids.
For Best Coast‘s “Our Deal,” Drew Barrymore takes on the role of director, Chloë Moretz handles the leading role, and a whole flock of celebs, including Donald Glover, make appearances. The video is kind of like a combination of the movies The Warriors and Romeo & Juliet in concept, which sounds silly, but it’s surprisingly touching.
