Neutral Milk Hotel, who have now attained “legendary” status in the indie rock world, have just launched a new site and announced that they’ll be releasing a box set filled with old music and unreleased tunes. The reclusive frontman Jeff Mangum doesn’t make moves very often, but when he does, it seems as though he can do no wrong.
To funnel traffic into to the new site (WalkingWallOfWords.com), two unreleased tracks are being streamed. The songs “Oh Sister” and “Ferris Wheel On Fire” are from 1995 and 1993, but they just serve as a testament that NMH’s style never gets old. Check it.
