There are times when I’m watching a video of a new artist I automatically jump to conclusions based on their appearance. I know I’m going against the old cliche about books and their covers but I can’t help it I’m human. So when I saw this video on the pages of The Madbury Club I automatically thought this was a joke. However, the young rapper from Oakland Kreayshawn is far from joking. Insert a young white lady that does whatever she wants and raps, and you have Kreayshawn. Now the rap game has been changing over the past couple years so I can see how someone like Kreayshawn fits nicely into what rap is becoming. She’s kind of like a Lil B meets Mac Miller at a barbeque hosted by Ke$ha.
Let me say this now, I like this song ALOT. Something about that hook that drew me in and held me there. I just downloaded her mixtape Kittys X Choppas so I’ll give you my impression on that in a couple days. What do you good folks think about Kreayshawn? Peace. Video after the jump….
