This Cleveland MC has been making some noise for quite some time. Chip Tha Ripper has a smooth buttery flow coupled with a bass filled voice that demands attention. His mixtape The Cleveland Show is still one of my favorite mixtapes from Chip. With a major cosign from The Wizard himself (Cudder), Chip Tha Ripper has a promising future in rap ,and 2011 should be a big year for this man. Here’s a video for a cut called Cool Points that I saw over at illRoots. Keep your ears open for his new project Gift Raps that drops March 1st produced entirely by Chuck Inglish of The Cool Kids.
