Nobody’s funky anymore. It seems like, these days, anyone who might have ventured into the funk has instead opted for the pop. We have too many singers with catchy choruses and soulful voices, but no funk. I need that funk. I miss that funk. Welcome, Chino Maurice.
Chino has been a backing musician for artists like Ghostface and Beyonce, and now he’s stepping out as a solo artist and will be touring as the opening act for N*E*R*D.
