I first heard from T.Shirt with “Never LOL“. I liked the idea of an anti-LOL song, but after a few listens I started to appreciate his style on a deeper level. This “24 Frames” song immediately clicked with me. It’s kind of like what Kanye did on “Livin’ A Movie“, and it’s executed perfectly. I’m definitely feeling this one, and I’m gonna take T.Shirt up on his offer to check out his other mixtapes from 2010. You can do the same by checking out all of his work from 2010 (for free) – HERE.
I asked friends and people on Twitter their favorite films, took some of my own and just went to work. At first it seemed like it was gonna be this huge task but once I got into it, it was just fun haha. There’s a total of over 120 film titles being used here and I’m most proud of how the story is still my own and still tells some of my real experiences. Even down to my man Dred from Brazil who runs Hot Mot Films. I used his film debut I_NY at the end of the third verse.
