Donald Glover is one impressive dude. He steals the show consistently on Community, basically wrote the character of Tracy Jordan for 30 Rock, and would be the next Spiderman if the internet had its way. I’d known he rapped under the name Childish Gambino, but never really checked it out cause I assumed it would slant towards comedy rap. Him rapping over a Jamie xx remix though? Had to listen, and it was definitely worth it. He waits till the 2:30 mark to drop a blistering verse directed towards an ex. Rapid-fire flow, quick-witted lyrics and a real sense of desperation to his delivery. I was shocked, to say the least.
