Ever since The Pass released the video for “Vultures“, they’ve been music blog favorites. Part of it is because the video referenced 30 music blogs/sites (including P&P, thanks guys!), but besides having an understanding for blog marketing 101, they’ve also got a firm grasp on how to make cool music in 2010. On first listen, I’m loving Burst. It sounds like something Phoenix would make if they got drunk – slightly louder, less neat, and more emotional – but way more fun and easy to get into bed. Uh.
