This is the latest video from Jonsi (of Sigur Ros). “Animal Arithmetic” is the second single off his debut album Go. The album is great (buy it from iTunes), and Jonsi’s songs and visuals are stunning. He creates the kind of epic sound that would fit right in with a time lapsed video of rising volcanic smoke – an intense, dreamy combination of pop, classical composition, and post rock.
Whatever you want to call it, it’s a perfect example of the creativity that Icelandic artists are bringing lately. Anyone want to go to Iceland with me?
