I heard Rai Knight for the first time the other day (Seriously tried to remember what day and had no idea – could have been Monday, could have been yesterday… where’d my brain go?). I heard her on the Pat-Lee remix of the jam “New New”, which seems to be her biggest hit so far. It’s catchy pop, but much more eclectic than what you get out of a lot of top 40 hit makers. Plus, she swears and her beats thump.
Rai writes and produces, she’s from Detroit, and I’m into it.
