This is nice. Theo Martins got on Brooklyn indie band Wakey!Wakey!‘s “Twenty Two” from Almost Everything I Wish I’d Said the Last Time I Saw You. It works really well for a cohesive indie rock/hip-hop collaboration that’s more than just another emcee going in over a Passion Pit sample. No offense, I like those too, but this feels much more like a well blended cocktail and less like putting some vodka in your Hawaiian Punch. Again, both are delicious, but you get what I mean.
