Time to be honest – I don’t know what the fuck this song is about. No idea. I love it the track, but I think the music far outweighs the whispering, timid vocals. I watched this video with the quickness, so I couldn’t tell you how that goes either. Looks like some bad, snowy dream I had after watching Fargo, and followed by the daily dream I have of my fucking teeth falling out, as usual. But I can tell you that “Odessa” gets my heart pumping. That bass line is like audio caffeine. I’ve said it a couple times already, but I’ll just throw it out there one more time – I think this song would react very well to a remix. Imagine your favorite emcee going in on this. Given that your favorite emcee isn’t Plies that would probably sound nice right? You know who would sound sick over this beat? Ramz. Right? Right?
