The 109th entry in our DJBooth.net Freestyle Series comes courtesy of The ILLZ, the Jersey up-and-comer who earned rave reader reviews for mixtape tracks Crazy and Heaven (Higher). On his brand new, previously-unreleased Prelude to the Sickness freestyle, the currently-unsigned rapper flows over original boardwork by Ill Tal. ILLZ latest full-length, The Pursuit, is set to drop before the end of ‘09, followed by the official music video for Heaven (Higher) and a new single, Melfi. In 2010, ILLZ and Ill Tal will rejoin forces for a collaborative project entitled The Epidemic.
