Miike Snow! To be honest, when this guy strolled on stage for a duet with Lykke Li during Lollapalooza, I had never listened to his music. The only reason I even remembered his name was because I like to make fun of the two i’s he chooses to include in his name. The duet with Lykke Li was a cover of Kings Of Leon’s “Knocked Up” and it was pretty unremarkable, but it got me interested. Over the past week I’ve been checking out his music and it’s good shit!
Miike Snow is actually the name of the group. (Frontman Andrew Wyatt + a couple producers). Here’s the track “Animal” which was the first single off of their debut album, self titled, that came out earlier this year. It’s an awesome track.
