Whenever I see this band’s name come up, I think “why the fuck would you name your band Deer Tick?” *Looks at blog title, recants last statement.* Ramz was just asking me about the title Pigeons and Planes, and I realize that most people probably have no idea why the fuck I would name my blog that. I will include an explanation on the site soon.
Anyways, this song has been getting pretty hot on elbo.ws, and that’s usually a good sign. Deer Tick will be releasing Born On Flag Day on June 23rd. Here’s the first song from the album. It’s got a twangy, sloppy-in-a-good-way sound to it, and once I get used to the singer’s voice, I think I’m gonna like it.
