You may know John Forte because he helped out with The Fugees The Score album, or simply because Wyclef yelled out “John For – tay!”. You may know him for his post Fugees solo work (probably not), or maybe because in 2000 the rapper/producer was arrested in Newark Airport for accepting a briefcase filled with $1.4 million dollars of liquid cocaine and sentenced to 14 years in prison. Fuck. Luckily Bush pardoned him, so instead of spending the next 6 years in jail, Forte is a free man. Nice. Here’s a video of his first day out of prison.
