For roughly a decade, Birmingham producer James Vine has been operating under the name Enigma Dubz, threading together various strains of UK club music, from garage to dubstep and the occasional bit of D&B. Since last year, however, he’s been exploring more downtempo sounds with his new alias, Itona.

His latest single under the new guise is “You Are So”, a soulful blend of shifting, chrome-covered synths and rich vocals not unlike something you’d hear from someone like Bonobo. Shifting the focus from the dancefloor towards something more emotive, the new drop is the first in a string of singles that will eventually build to a new EP later in the year.

“You Are So” officially lands tomorrow, April 2. Pre-order it here.
