Cole surprised fans on Tuesday by dropping off a new video and song titled “Heaven’s EP.”

The track uses the beat for Drake’s Certified Lover Boy track “Pipe Down,” which was produced by Leon Thomas III, FaxOnly, Jean Bleu, Simon Gebrelul, and Anthoine Walters.

“Some people say that I’m running third, they threw the bronze at me/Behind Drake and Dot, yeah them n**gas is superstars to me/Maybe deep down I’m afraid of my luminosity/So when you see me on red carpets, I’m movin’ awkwardly,” Cole raps on the track.

You can check out the video for “Heaven’s EP,” which was directed by Simon Chasalow and features Cole in Las Vegas, up top.

Cole shared The Off-Season, his sixth studio album, back in May of this year. The 12-track project debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and boasted appearances from 21 Savage, Lil Baby, Bas, 6lack, and Morray.

As previously mentioned “Pipe Down,” the beat that Cole re-purposed for “Heaven’s EP,” was included on Drake’s record-breaking album CLB. The project debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard charts with a massive first week that saw it move 613,000 album-equivalent units, making it the biggest debut of 2021.

Earlier this month, the legendary Big Daddy Kane linked up with Cole and called him his favorite rapper that’s out right now.

“I want this brother right here to know that he is my favorite MC out here right now,” Kane said in a clip he posted to social media of the two meeting. “This is the brother right here that makes me feel like hip-hop is still alive and it’s here to stay when I listen to this here brother spit and listen to his music. Love you, fam.”

In other news, Cole is set to kick off his The Off-Season Tour in just a few days. The tour will hit up several cities across the country and will also feature Morray, 21 Savage, and Druski.
