A pair of Lil Uzi Vert tracks, neither of which feature Marilyn Manson, received official releases Tuesday amid continued Eternal Atakeconfusion.
DJ Drama first announced the release of "Sanguine Paradise" and "That's a Rack" over the weekend, noting that both tracks were Generation Now/Atlantic drops. As we all know by now, the brands have received the brunt of criticism from frustrated Uzi fans in the wake of deal-inspired periods of faux retirement and new music delays.
At the time of this writing, Uzi himself hadn't mentioned the tracks. In an Instagram update Sunday, he said only this:
At any rate, you can now stream both tracks over on Tidal. If you've been following the recent marathon of surfaced tracks, both songs will likely be familiar to you. "Sanguine Paradise" was produced by Oogie Mane and Brandon Finessin and previously surfaced under the title "Money Keep Coming." Uzi also teased the song back in December at his holiday throwdown in Philadelphia. The Mane-produced "That's a Rack," meanwhile, previously surfaced under the same title.
Fresh off the surprise release and subsequent rarity of his "Free Uzi" anthem, Uzi gave fans another glimpse into the frustrations currently fueling his creative process in an Instagram note last week. "For everybody that thought I was done and thought they was gonna end my career," Uzi wrote at the time, "I WONT LET IT GET 2 ME just keep working uzi."
Hopefully, this summer won't be plagued by a noticeable absence of Eternal Atake. The planet needs it now more than ever.
