LL Cool J doesn’t exactly remember making fun of Jay-Z rapping in high school.

But it seems like that might be the reason why LL has never been invited to Hov’s Roc Nation Brunch. LL spoke on the supposed incident during an appearance on Big Boy’s Neighborhood when the host asked the rapper-turned-actor if he had been to the Grammy weekend event during a game of ‘For Real For Real For False For False.’ LL responded, “For false, for false.”

He explained around the 43:20 minute mark: “I love everybody. I don’t have no problems with none of these guys, man. If I laughed, okay, so what? Laugh at me. How many people have you laughed at or snapped on in the lunch room? Come on, B. Give your man a pass on that nonsense, man. This is ridiculous. I don’t even remember it.”

“I laughed at you so now I can’t have no brunch?” he continued, laughing with Big Boy. “I can’t have no finger food?”

LL Cool J recently announced The F.O.R.C.E. Live tour, which celebrates the 50th anniversary of hip-hop with 24 shows. In addition to LL, the tour also brings out The Roots, DJ Jazzy Jeff, and DJ Z-Trip each night, alongside a rotating set of acts like Salt-N-Pepa, Queen Latifah, Rakim, Common, MC Lyte, Method Man & Redman, Big Boi, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Ice T, Juvenile, Doug E. Fresh, Slick Rick, Goodie Mob, and Jadakiss, among others. The tour kicks off on June 25 in Boston and concludes on Sept. 3 in Los Angeles.
