Always willing to try new things, synthpop duo Chairlift released a new music video this week specifically for their Japanese fans. To celebrate this week’s release of their excellent sophomore album, Something, in Japan, the Colorado outfit recorded a Japanese language version of “I Belong In Your Arms.”

To accompany her non-native vocals, Caroline Polacheck directed and animated a very stereotypically Japanese new music video with Eric Epstein. The clip falls somewhere in the space between a karaoke video and Mario’s nightmares. Check it out up above.
