Colombian singer Kali Uchis has returned with a new single and news of a new EP. "Lottery" is a soft and upbeat song where the beautiful songstress laments about forgiving a former lover and taking a chance on a new beginning. Her vocals are whispery and distinct, blending with the angelic production while giving listeners a easily digestible chorus to sink their teeth into.
While the vintage sound of "Lottery" is just one of the many charms that make this song a hit, the actual songwriting itself is fun without taking the topic too seriously.
