Since its release date, One Direction's new single "Drag Me Down" has hit No. 1 in 90 countries with more than 40 million streams to date on Spotify. They also set a new record for highest first-day streams for a single globally and highest first-week streams for a single ever in the U.K.
In the video, the four members throw it back to fellow boyband Backstreet Boys and take us across an airplane hanger as they prepare for their own flight. Except this isn't an ordinary plane strip with the guys filming instead is NASA's Johnson Space Center as they ready for space in the big-budget video. Directed by long-term collaborators Ben and Gabe Turner, the group tests out NASA T-38 aircrafts and train in the NASA WB-57 Altitude Research Aircraft typically used for atmosphere research, according to Billboard. Watch the whole video above and look for their fifth studio album due this November.
