Only Three People Reportedly Showed Up for the Anti-Beyoncé Protest in NYC

Today was supposed to be the day the silent majority would rise up and demonstrate their collective allegiance against Beyoncé, who evidently has become one of the most hated individuals in America. Why else would someone set up an anti-Beyoncé protest in NYC? 

Or nah. According to the Cut, only three people showed up to the rally going on outside NFL headquarters in NYC. For a while, it was just one person and the media. Two other people reportedly showed up to bring the Beyoncé protest total to the same number of people that appeared in Bey's "Single Ladies" video. Attendee Ariel Kohane offered his own excuse as to why the numbers were so low. "Some of us are surprised that there are only a couple of us out here today. It is scheduled from 8 to 4 p.m.; it's a business day. Also, the weather; the rain turned a lot of people away. You know, 6 p.m. would be a better time. Even lunch time — 12 p.m., 1 p.m." A twitter account by @ProudOfTheBlues also encouraged people to show up to the protest.

Meanwhile, the BeyHive showed up in droves to support the global icon. One pro-Bey protestor, Tajh Sutton, explained to protestor number three, April Bedunah, that she too respects cops. "I have cop friends... of all ethnicities. And I pray for them because I worry for them, especially my black cop friends. Because race permeates that shit, too. Have you heard about any white cops in the last five years getting indicted for the murder of a black person?" Bedunah soaked in her words and offered a thoughtful response. "I understand her perspective; I definitely do," she said. "I'm going to tell my friends that they need to respect the community. They need to reach out to them and instead of being one side or the other, we need to come together." Check out pictures of the many BeyHive members that turned out in masses below.
