Returning to his iZIKI label, Norwegian DJ and producer Djuma Soundsystem is back with his new single, “Manlaton”. The track also features Adel Mekha, a singer from the Egyptian tribe of Mattokki, who sings in his native language, Kenzi.

A warming deep house cut, “Manlaton” pulls seemingly disparate threads from Europe, the States and the Middle East to create a hypnotising dancefloor moment.

Continuing that theme of uniting far-flung elements for the music video, director Blake Dvs looked to his own Middle Eastern roots, using personal footage—mainly from Palestine—and mixed it with shots of the artists filmed in India and Egypt, and two Japanese actors, Ritsu and Maki, in a New York studio.

The new release, which lands September 8 (pre-order here), will also come with two remixes: one from Russian duo Fake Mood and one from Austria-based producer Darksidevinyl. But for now, press play on the visuals exclusively above.
