Hear MM's Gothic-Leaning "9th Ritual"

Sinister-yet-playful electronica from Her Records' head honcho.

MM, formerly known as Miss Modular, has returned with the almost-gothic "9th Ritual". It's been a few years since we've had an outing from the producer (well, since 2013's "Reflektor Pack") and in that time, he's been pouring much of his energy into running the inscrutable Her Records. Now, after some time away and a name change, he's back with a new EP, self-titled to reflect the switch-up and chock-full of sinister-yet-playful electronica driven by some manic, UKF-leaning percussion that sounds like the battle cry of the War Boys from Mad Max.

Out on Oct. 18, "9th Ritual" opens the set by balancing the opposing forces of light and dark, and (we hope) setting the tone of the rest of the EP. Listen to the track after the jump.
