Jazzified tranquilizers and bleepy bloops, the humorously-named Lindsay Lowend is not joking around with their new EP, Wind Fish. Set to release August 6 on Kastle's Symbols Recordings imprint, Lindsay Lowend has uploaded a mini-mix preview of the four-track EP. The preview shows off a fusion of jazz, future bass, hip-hop and chiptune. The result is a "neon" (their word, but we agree) collage of various aural pleasures, ranging from the sensual "GT40" to the underwater jazzy sensibilities of "It's George." Lindsay Lowend has made some of the most mind-bendingly unique material we've ever posted on DAD. I try not to use hyperbole, but this EP preview is just brilliant. August 6 can't come soon enough.
