“Wusyaname” is a smooth love song that fuses rap and R&B. On the track, Tyler, the Creator is lovesick as he details the moment he fell for a woman soon after meeting her. Keeping the theme of travel in mind, he also offers to take her abroad, rapping, “Let’s go to Cannes and watch a couple indie movies that you never heard of/ Listen to bands, groove, and we dance.” NBA YoungBoy is in rare form on the track, as he appeals to his woman of interest with Auto-Tuned vocals. “Wusyaname” is a standout from Tyler’s new album Call Me If You Get Lost.

You Right” is a slow pop song that unites two forces in the game right now. Doja Cat finds herself wanting something different, although she’s currently in a committed relationship, singing, “You right, I got my guy/ But I, I can’t help it, I want you.” The Weeknd proves to be no help, though, as he encourages her to give into her desires. “Girl, I want you like you want me too,” he croons. “You Right,” which appears on Doja Cat’s new album Planet Her, arrived shortly after it was first announced at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards.

“The Matrix” is a hard-hitting and hypnotic track in which Ski Mask the Slump God runs out of breath as he lays down dizzying verses over booming production. The track is full of dark energy, perfect for moshing. “Giant what I am, Attack on Titan/ A beast in your reality, somethin’ like Iycan,” he spits. And Ski Mask’s ad-libs in the background are both frightening and provoking. “The Matrix” appears on Ski Mask’s latest project, Sin City The Mixtape.

“Bad Habits” a sweet-sounding, melodic record where Ed Sheeran reflects on his past vices of late-night partying and heavy drinking. “My bad habits lead to late-nights, endin’ alone/Conversations with a stranger I barely know/ Swearin’ this will be the last, but it probably won’t,” he sings. Though the message is a bit somber, the uptempo and disco-inspired beat ironically makes you want to dance all night or get into something mischievous. “Bad Habits” is Ed Sheeran’s first track of the year.
Snoh Aalegra, “Lost You”

On “Lost You,” Snoh Aalegra is inquisitive as she contemplates the status of her relationship. “Wish I knew what you were thinkin/ But that probably wouldn’t change shit,” she sings. Snoh always has a way of soothing listeners with her syrupy vocals and poise. “Lost You” is a nice teaser as fans wait for her album Temporary Highs in the Violet Skies, set to drop on July 9.

“On Red Light Green Light,” DaBaby is just as raunchy as ever, dropping vivid references to his sexual escapades over his typical flute beat, courtesy of D.A got that dope. “Hop out that bitch, whip that shit on em/ Pull my dick out, sit me down, and she sit on it,” he raps. On the second verse, DaBaby focuses on more on his sports cars and wealth, rapping, “I like my Lamborghinis cause they drive fast/ But the Maybach is probably my favorite whip.”
