It’s the last Friday of September, and the new music releases aren’t letting up. This week, Gunna, Future, and Wheezy teamed up for their latest collaboration, “Too Easy.” Latto dropped her lusty anthem, “Big Energy.” And Morray is back with another soulful tune for the streets called “Bad Situations.” You can also hear new music from Remble, Giveon, YoungBoy Never Broke Again, Westside Gunn, and more.

Gunna & Future, “Too Easy”

“Too Easy” is a braggadocious record that unites the dynamic rapper-producer duo, Gunna and Wheezy once again. On the track, Gunna boasts about how easy it is for him and Wheezy to make a hit, rapping, “It’s Young Wunna and Young Wheezy, man, this shit too easy/ Different bitch every season showin’ me the cleavage.” Future also appears on the track with sleazy lines about “smashin R&B stars right at the bando.” “Too Easy” is expected to appear on Gunna’s forthcoming album.

Sampling Mariah Carey’s 1995 hit “Fantasy,” Latto’s “Big Energy” is a lusty track that finds the ATL rapper appealing to men’s wildest desires. On the track, Latto brags about her looks and body, while spelling out what she wants. “Bad bitch, I could be your fantasy/ I can tell you got big dick energy/ It ain’t too niggas that can handle me/ But I might let you try it off the Hennessy,” she raps. “Big Energy” is expected to appear on Latto’s next album, although the project has yet to be announced. 

Morray, “Bad Situations”

“Bad Situations” is a soulful and emotionally-rich track that finds Morray reflecting on the struggles he’s been through in the past, and the long road it took to get where he is now. He croons about his past, thanking his faith for helping him break through. “Gettin’ money I’m talking bout all the profits/ Money fall out the wallet, they know when a nigga got it,” he sings. While he’s happy to have money in his pockets, Morray also discusses how more money brings other problems.

Remble f/ Lil Yachty, “Rocc Climbing”

“Rocc Climbing” is a bar-heavy collaboration between Remble and Lil Yachty. On the track, Yachty kicks things off with a quick verse about women, drugs, and street activity. Remble comes on the track with a similar energy, rapping, “Messed around and got richer than all my idols/ Putting safes in sleeper holds like I’m Roddy Piper/ Cashed my money in the bank, then won all my titles.” For more on Remble, check out our interview with him here.

YoungBoy Never Broke Again, “No Where”

Youngboy Never Broke Again’s “No Where” is an emotional and melodic record that finds the Baton Rouge rapper in an antisocial mood. On the track, he raps about wanting to stay at home with just one girl. “I don’t wanna go nowhere, no, think it’s best if we just stay at home/ Might as well leave out because your friends can’t come round/ I wanted it to be just me and you all alone,” he sings. “No Where” appears on YoungBoy’s newly-released album, Sincerely, Kentrell.

Giveon, “For Tonight”

On “For Tonight,” Giveon is singing of a relationship that has reached its endpoint. Although they both know it’s over, Giveon hopes they can reconcile just for one more night together. “For tonight, I’m yours/ So deny the truth/ We’ll stay behind closed doors/ Cause all I wanna do is lie with you,” he sings. “For Tonight” is a moving love song that is expected to appear on the singer’s debut album. 

Westside Gunn f/ Jay Electronica, “Free Kutter”

On “Free Kutter,” Westside Gunn unites with Jay Versace once again over a dreamy and soulful beat, bragging about being the best in the game and dealing keys, while also making biblical references. “The flyest nigga of all time, and y’all know it/ If God shy, we all shy, life’s euphoric,” he spits. The track also features Jay Electronica, who delivers a powerful verse, rapping, “Spitting actual facts soon as the originator was black/ From Buffalo to Tupelo we tryna break from the trap.” “Free Kutter” appears on Gunn’s latest project, Hitler Wears Hermes 8: Side B.

22Gz, “Retaliation”

“Retaliation” is a menacing record where 22Gz raps about his team’s lethal tendencies. “All black Honda, shooters like Mamba, kill a opp, roll him in grabba (Shooters like Mamba)/ Ain’t gonna line him soon as we find him (Skrrt), hella hoes in this designer,” he raps with dizzying precision. “Retaliation” appears on the deluxe edition of 22Gz’s album, The Blixky Tape 2

“OH LORD” is a triumphant record from rising New York rapper Marlon Craft. It’s a bar-heavy track that finds Craft breathlessly blowing through one verse with premier bars about his hunger to win in the rap game. He also throws in NBA references and metaphors, drawing a picture of where he stands in the industry. “Dudes look the part, thinkin’ they could play the role/ That could get yo head cracked/ So I just be myself and let the rest act/ And I’m from New York, so I live my truth and they say it’s dead facts/ God bless the rest, the best’s back,” he spits. “OH LORD” appears on Marlon Craft’s project Homecourt Advantage, Vol. 1, released September 21.

Coi Leray, “Twinnem”

“Twinnem” has a childlike energy about it. Over Bankroll Got It production, Coi Leray raps about her friend circle and loyalty. “Yeah, that’s my twinnem/ Go best friend, we killin’ em/ No new friends, get rid of them,” she sings in a high-pitched voice. The track is simple, catchy, and bound to get stuck in people’s heads.
